Commission Work
I offer a personalized approach to creating custom art that will perfectly suit your home or the home of a friend. Whether you come with a fully formed idea or a blank slate, I am happy to work with you to create something special.
My commission work ranges from painting, illustrations, and sculptures to screenprinting. I also have experience creating custom album covers, logo designs, children’s book art, and sign painting. I work both digitally and with traditional materials, and I am always open to exploring new mediums.
My Commission Process
My commission process begins with a discussion to understand the medium, size, and type of content you prefer. If you'd like me to take the reins on the creative direction instead, I am happy to help. Here are all the steps below:
Initial Discussion: Understand the medium, size, and content you prefer.
Quote/Proposal: Once the details are decided, I will provide a quote/proposal for you to sign.
Upfront Payment: To commence the work, 50% of the estimated rate is required upfront.
Creation Process: I ensure at least one sketch is completed, which can be edited based on your feedback.
Service Charge: My service charge is a flat rate of $30 per hour plus the cost of materials, unless it's a special project.
Completion: On completion of the project, a low-resolution image of the final piece is sent for your approval.
Final Payment: Once you are satisfied and the final payment is made, the artwork is ready for delivery.
Delivery: The artwork can either be picked up, dropped off, or shipped according to your convenience.

Once you send me a message with your commission idea, we will schedule a time to talk over the phone and iron out the details of the project. I will then send you a contract with the estimate and request a down payment of 50% of the estimate. After I’ve received the signed contract and the down payment, I will get to work creating something especially curated to your interests! I will send you sketches and have you choose your favorite options as well as request edits before I begin the final piece. When the work is completed, I will send you an image of the piece to decide whether or not you want any final edits to be made, and make sure that you absolutely love it. Depending on the scope of the project, the work will either be dropped off, shipped, or available for pick-up from my home in Greenfield. The final payment is due within one week of the project being completed, and will be available for the client to take home once the payment has been made.
